Icecast Streaming Media Server

Hi.

I need some stats on how long time users are listening to my stream, and how many users in a given period etc...

Anybody who knows how to do this or knows some program that can do it?

I have a webplayer on my site, that plays my stream.
If i want to have so people can choose if they want to open the stream in winamp, wmp and quicktime instead - how can I make this?

I have this PHP file I run every minute with a schudeled task on my server.
It gets the METADATA from the nowplaying.xml XML file...
And then send it to icecast. But no update.

I have some problems with my metadata and are really lost.

I have made a scheduled task to update my metadata that runs a URL with this:

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/admin/metadata.xs ...

I use winamp with edcast and Icecast2.
It works perfect, but sometimes the stream suddenly stops after a day, and I dont know why. Really annoying.
Its winamp that stop the stream. I stream from ano ...

Found the problem.. It was my mp3lame encoder that fucked it up... I choosed AAC+V2 and now it runs 64 kbit.. Smile

When my edcast plays from winamp and in Encoder Settings says MP3: 64 kbps/44100Hz/Stereo, shouln't it be in 64 kbps then????
The Transfer Rate is 178 Kbps right now, so I guess its not 64 kbps?

There are many people who setup 2 or more edcast sessions from the same winamp. I would suggest that over the transcoder route if possible.
