So, it works for me, obviously because i am in my own network, but why wont it work for others????? lemme know if that makes sense |

there are a few tests to see what part isn't working for other, the first one is to see if others can get hold of the /status.xsl page. If they can then the connection works but if not then TCP is not being established. The usual cause for TCP failure is a firewall blocking connections, NAT not setup for the port or icecast configured to bind on a limited set of interfaces (eg 127.0.0.1 only)
If /status.xsl works in a browser then maybe the m3u is wrong, the usual reason for this is <hostname> been set incorrectly (2.3.x does try to use any Host header that is sent). Other than that, you should get a stream and your player should decode it.
