|
|
Hello evry1.
I'm trying to relay a HTTP stream using Icecast (video stream), does icecast deal with that?
I know that in case of MMS it's not possible, but if instead of relaying .mp3 like that:
<relay>
<server>blablabla</server>
<port>blablabla</port>
<mount>/blablabla</mount>
<local-mount>/blablabla</local-mount>
<on-demand>1</on-demand>
</relay>
Could I relay the video in the same way???

Thanx for so fast reply Karl. I have one more question (it can be very silly but nevertheless). Is there in Internet live channels (video), that uses .ogg or .nsv containers for streaming?

probably, although I haven't checked. You may find that they are subscription based due to higher bandwidth requirements over audio alone. The fact that it's live only means that the video is captured from a device and then encoded.
