It is meant to be in the <mount> block, remember mount settings apply to both source clients and relays.

in the actual icecast 2.3.2-kh31 this function is available, i mean can i set the log files inside the mount declaration and have separate logs? |

<accesslog>
<name>access.log</name>
...
</accesslog>

<logsize></logsize> must be used inside mount declarations also, or set ir with the default server size? |

you can use <size>, the default is 50M IIRC.
