Hi,
we currently try to impelemnt an MP3-stream into an HTML5 webside, which is SSL signed.
Therefore we need to call the stream also via "https://".
I already installed the icecast with SSL-support (libssl-dev and openssl) and entered the
<ssl>1</ssl>
<ssl-certificate>/usr/local/share/icecast/icecast.pem</ssl-certificate>
in icecast.xml.
Unfortunately I do not succeed in playback of the stream via https://ip.address.com:443/something.mp3
What am I doing wrong?
Is tehre a possibility to check, if SSL is activated in icecast?
I am looking forward to any hints. _________________ Icecast 2.4.0 (debian)

SOLVED:
I had a mistake with the PEM-file.
The correct selfsigned pem-file could be generated by:
openssl req -new -newkey rsa:2048 -days 365 -nodes -x509 -keyout sample.pem -out sample.pem
I hope thism helps. _________________ Icecast 2.4.0 (debian)
