Hello, I am running Windows Server 2008 and would like to add SSL to the stream. I have noticed a posting that is for Linux but I would like to know for windows too.
Can someone tell me how to do this?
Thank you,
David. _________________ www.yegwebradio.ca |

I've just pushed out an installer version of Icecast 2.4.1, it comes with HTTPS support built in.
Technically this means TLSv1 and above, as we disabled the generaly considered broken SSLv3 with 2.4.1. Should work just fine with most browsers and "SSL" libraries.
Please refer to the documentation as to details about configuring HTTPS support. |
