I have installed Icecast2 2.2.0 and streamtranscoder on my Windows XP Pro PC.
I have configure streamtranscoder to take my line-in in (microphone) as input. When I run it, it comes up with:
Input Stream URL : (linein)
Output Stream Type : (OggVorbis)
Output Server Type : (Icecast2)
Output Bitrate : (Quality 3/Stereo/44100)
Output status : (Disconnected)
Main Status : (Connecting To Output Stream)
Output status : (Connecting)
Output status : (Socket connected)
Output status : (Success)
Output status : (Connected)
Output status : (Recording from Microphone)
Input Status : (Input device opened...)
Input Status : (Recording from linein)
Input Status : (Line-In)
Input Stream Type : (PCM)
Input Bitrate : (44100Hz/Stereo PCM)
Output status : (Recording from Microphone)
Output status : (Disconnecting)
Output status : (Disconnected)
Output status : (Was disconnected from server)
I cannot work out why it disconnects so quickly. When I lokk at the Icecast2 access.log I see:
192.168.0.25 - - [08/Aug/2005:18:29:04 +0100] "SOURCE http://192.168.0.25:8000/ring.ogg ICE/1.0" 404 99 "(null)" "-" 4590600
which I guess means that Icecast2 can't see the mountpoint? I say guess, because I can find no documentation of the contents of the access.log file. If this is the case then streamtranscoder is certainly managing to pass the pointer to the mountpoint thru to Icecast2.
Can someone help me please?
