Hi i have a school requirement which is to set up an intranet radio station. I'll use ICECAST audio streaming server, and i need to develop my own source client application in java. Can somebody help me for references in developing source client application? Thanks. |

libshout-java gives you access to the libshout library through java but the downside is that you need to compile the libshout library for your specific platform. When I tried it out it worked great on Linux but I had trouble getting it to work on windows and OSX.
Over the past month I've been working on a pure-java implementation of the libshout library. All you have to do is add one jar file to your class path and you're ready to go. Right now it only supports mp3. You can take a look at it here:
