I have google alot and i have read on this forum alot but i cant get i to work.

I want to install icecast on windows machine. I have 3 bitrate and ports from SAM Broadcaster.

How should the config file look like?
I have try to add <port> settings as the faq says, but only one stream can connect.

I want the same username and password for all.

Port i use: 7330 (32 kbit/s, ACC), 7340 (64 kbit/s, mp3) and 7350 (128 kbit/s, mp3). All is mounted as /live.mp3 in SAM and relayserver

My relayserver with icecast should connect to my windows machine and get the stream.

I really need help with this..

Or do i need one port for all, and use diffrent mounts?

stream1.mp3
stream2.mp3
stream3.mp3 all on port 8000?

My windows machine is only for relayer to connect, not listerners.

you only need the multiple ports if you are using the traditional shoutcast style source clients as they need 2 per stream. You can of course use multiple ports with icecast but the key thing is that each stream (whatever format/bitrate) need to be on a separate mountpoint.

If you want to use the / reference to refer to the different streams depending on the port then use a series of alias setting to map / to the mountpoint based on the port.

If we assume that you are using icecast sources then define the <listen-socket> blocks for the ports you actually want. The global source client username name is "source" but the password is set with <source-password> in <authentication>. No <mount> blocks are required for that set up.
