I have an icecast server behind a NAT/Firewall router that doesnt like local loopback.
I can set either Icecast to use -
<Hostname>External IP address</Hostname> that will allow the outside world to listen.
or I can use -
<Hostname>localhost</Hostname> that will allow the internal LAN to listen.
How can I setup so that both external and LAN can listen ? |

You could map the <hostname> internally to the internal IP address which icecast can listen on. With 2.3, if the host header is sent then that is used to generate the m3u.

depends on how you do internal name lookups, a local DNS, NIS, SMB or just just the simple hosts file
