As I understand Icecast doesn't support rtsp currently. Is there any development in this area. How much effort do you think it takes with current codebase? RTSP is very similar to HTTP.

The specs for the xiph codecs over RTSP are being worked on, but it's impossible to say how soon an implementation can be done.

I haven't looked into it yet. There hasn't been much call for it either. It's obviously something we'll want to get implemented.
