icecast cannot currently do that, but it could be something to add if there is sufficient call for it.

the main aim is to get seperate statictics of the radiostations hosted on my server. think the only solution for now will be to use seperate configs.

thx

I'd love to see seperate access.log(s) for individual mounts.

Hi,
I would only like to know if there's any chance to get the 'per mount point access.log' function implemented.

Thanks
Carlo

separate access logs might not be that difficult to implement, I'd have to check into the specifics though.

I have some code to try out for the separate access log, it's not heavily tested but should be ok to see how well it works out for you.

http://www.icecast.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/icecast-2.3.2-kh18b.tar.gz

eg
<mount-name>/stream</mount-name>
<accesslog>
<name>/file_in_logdir</name>
</accesslog>

What if I don't define the accesslog section?
Log entry will be directed to the standard logfile?

I'll try it asap, thank you Karl! ^_^

yes. The per-mount log is tried first then the global one, all others should log to the global one. The 404 responses should log to the per-mount one as well, the case I wasn't 100% sure on whether it was correct was with fallback but I think that should be valid.

the access log setting applies to the mount block so it works for either source clients or relays.

hi karl,

thanks for the answer, i didn't had time to look on it.

but it didn't work for:

Code:
<relay></relay>

it worked for:

Code:
<mount></mount>

i'm still using kh29.

i will maybe try then with a newer kh version.

yours,
bbk
