I have bsi simian (radio automation) and it outputs and correctly updates the current song on the icecast 2 backend. My question is...
how does the end user see the song playing? when i listen in wmplayer it doesn't show it just the station call letters (in this instance KIEE 88.3 FM)
should it not show in wmplayer? or is it player dependent? |

If the player does not ask for the metadata inserts then it will not get any, the inserts break the mp3/aac frame layout so are only added if requested by the player.
