The icecast software craps out when I start it with this configuration:
<relay>
<server>IP</server>
<port>8002</port>
<mount>/test< ... |

Tried that and it's not letting me see the page on the other computer via the ip:port/admin/ and it works just fine here on localhost.
(linksys router)

nope because i had it set to DMZ and it still didn't work. so it's not the firewall. something is causing it not to connect to the outside world.
yet it sees local host just fine but when i encode ... |

as stated before, the port is open. i don't know why this isn't working. i have my external ip listed but it's not working!
this is impossible to set up and it shouldn't be.

how do i get the icecast server to see the 'net? it can see local but not 'net and i have port 8000 open on the firewall (both tcp and udp)
