That makes sense. (I haven't been compiling Unix stuff in about a year or so, so I'm just rusty at it right now.)

| Wait, I got it to work. I compiled in the libshout-2.2.0 from the source here on icecast.org, and now it seems to compile. (On to the next problem...) |

| Oh wait, these file names are confusing. Yum claims I have libshout-2.2.2.4.fc11.i586 installed already. So that's not libshout-3.2 after all. Hmm. |

I'm on Fedora 11. When I ./configure ices-0.4 I get an error "/usr/bin/pkg-config couldn't find libshout. Try adjusting PKG_CONFIG_PATH.""
My system has libshout on it, already com ... |
