Hey all..
I've just installed and configured icecast2 without any problems on Win Server 2003
As I can see, the features in the programes are not that advanced..
Is it possible to stream audio live from the "line in" or mic interface of the server?
If it is.. how is this configured?
I'm currently running broadwave audio streamer, which perfectly does the job.. exept for the format.. unfortunatly..
But is live streaming possible? |

The encoding is done by the source client, whether it is done on the same machine as icecast is purely a matter for yourself. I cannot comment on that particular source client but it is possible for get audio from mic/line-in. Just look at oddcast dsp for instance.
