Icecast Streaming Media Server

hi all

i have one question that what is the exact use of icecastservice? means when i install icecast.exe, server running fine and icecastservice is also runs when i open task manager. now if i terminate that service in task manager, icecast is still running fine? so please clear me dependancies between this two module.

I don't know if IcecastService is standalone app, or program depended on Icecast, but it has no sense to run both Icecast and IcecastService, because both programs use the same config, so one of them can't get the socket, so there's an error. It's normally when you can connect to Icecast if both apps are running, because one of them mus assign socket, but the second one can't, because port is busy.

IcecastService is used (by me, for example) to start server with system, but without logging in or running independently from user account.
