Hi everyone!
Today I bought an external mixer to make my life easier when I stream .
I have 2 soundcards in my PC (lets say 1 and 2).The output of 1 is connected to the 1st input of the mixer (by minijack/stereo jack). On the mixer there is also a mic connected (with a single jack). And finally the output of the mixer goes to the line-in of the 2nd soundcard (whose output is connected with my speakers).
Now my very weird problem.I use Darkice to stream to an Icecast server. The music is streamed just fine but when I speak on the mic nobody hears a thing. The mic ok because I can hear my voice on the speakers.Of course I ve tested all channels of the mixer and used max volume for the mic, but nothing happens....Any suggestions...? |

It's a question of what is being set to capture in the soundcard mixer. Sometimes is a Mix setting or maybe you can set multiple capture/record flags on each input. You'll have to experiment.
