Icecast Streaming Media Server

Hi all, I'm new here and to Ices

I just recently converted over to ices0 from sc_trans for source streaming.

The problem I'm experiencing is that periodically, songs end prematurely or even in the beginning or middle.

I've checked the mp3's and they play fine on my pc, but sourcing off the server for streaming with ices, it happens.

There all converted to the same formate, 128k, 44.1. I have the same settings placed in my source.conf file and set not to re-encode.

Any clues?

If the problem occurs only with some files, and always same files, this could mean those may be corrupted, but still playable in a common player. You could check those with some mp3 checker such as http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/MIDI_Players_and_Editors/Ashampoo_MP3_Check_Convert.html

Ices log file can also help by telling what happens...
