Hi all,
Bit of a strange one here, I run a stream server for a local radio station, the stream comes in via ogg, I then transcode it using streamTranscoder to mp3, so I present either ogg or mp3 to listeners.
These two streams work perfectly on PCs, can open them in winamp or windows media player no problems, however I'm now trying to play them on my windows mobile 6 device, and having no luck at all.
I've tested and I can access other shoutcast/icecast streams to my windows mobile, so its definately something I'm doing wrong with my stream.
Can anyone advise what I'm doing wrong here if possible?
The stream I'm trying to listen to is:
http://mobile2:user2@arctic.thebmwz3.co.uk:8000/hartlepool-mp3
My config:

Could it be because it requires authentication? The stream itself looks ok.

Good point.
I disabled authentication on the MP3 stream, and sure enough it connected straight up.
So it looks to me more likely a bug in the WM player/web software than Icecast itself.
So will do some more investigations down that route. Many thanks for the advise _________________ Andy
