|
|
Hey!
I am trying to create one mount on my Icecast-Server, to use with Shoutcasts sc_trans.
The server uses port 8000 as normal icecast port...
| Code: |
<listen-socket>
<port>8000</port>
</listen-socket>
|
and I specified another port as shoutcast-compat and defined the mount icecast should use for shoucast feed.
| Code: |
<listen-socket>
<port>8030</port>
<!--<bind-address>127.0.0.1</bind-address>-->
<shoutcast-compat>1</shoutcast-compat>
</listen-socket>
<shoutcast-mount>/fallback-loop.mp3</shoutcast-mount>
|
Now the problem appears that any shoutcast source (I tried sc_trans and oddcastV3 as shoutcast-souce) says "Error in socket connection".
Then there ist no information in error log (Level4).
But when I point to that port via my webbrowser I get a zero byte answer and there is a info in the error.log

|
Whats wrong in my configuration?
Thank you!

shoutcast style connection use 2 consecutive port numbers, so 8000 and 8030 won't work, however 8000 and 8001 will.

Yes you are right.. I discovered it.... (shoutcast source connects to n+1 right)
Now I have my "normale" icecast port at 8000 and the shoutcast-compat at 8001...
It works with Oddcast (Shoutcast Mode) but sc_trans disconnects every 10 (or someting like tha) seconds and icecast doesnt shows the source connected to the server (in status.xsl)...

There is no (!) entry in error.log or access.log...

Can you try with the trunk code, check my website for where to get that. I think there was some header updates that sc_trans required.
