|
|
on my server I got icecast working
I got ices running (oss)
then I tried using mpg123 song.mp3 to play a song on the server
but the ices only transmit silence to icecast
What have i missed here?
(I wish that there was some kind of program that dont need any sound decive to feed icecast with a stream.) |

Your DSP has to be told where to get audio from, the default is typically the Mic, so use apps like alsamixer/aumix to set the right input to capture. Which one that is depends on the device, some it may be mix, some may use something like Wave or PCM, you'll have to experiment.
