I don't want to let me Firewall down, so i was wondering, how do i make exceptions and what details do i have to input (such as Ports or IPs, etc).

I hope that I can help you
Normally runs the Icecast Server on port 8000 (TCT)
In Windows you can go to "Firewall" and the next tab you can add a port. |

| if you have an router, you must forward all ports in the router to the machine where you have the server running.. |
