This is not really a newbie question, but I thought it fit best here.
I know my way around Linux, but I have been looking for something like a package that comes in its own distribution (ie Clarkconnect) but as a mp3/ogg streaming server.
I've found a couple of tutorials on how to install icecast myself, but I have a hard time believing that there isn't a ready-made package who's only purpose is to act as a streaming music jukebox.
Anyone ever heard of something like this? |

Great minds think alike..
I've been working my way into Linux to make a live streaming box (real small like footpedal/stompbox) for easy use in live situations..
perhaps someone, somewhere, is further along with this sort of idea/product..? |
