Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to play Icecast2 mp3 streaming thru Ices0, and stream into another Icecast server.

I've just see that we can do this with wget/curl and - stdin, but not how to do exactly.

Thanks in advance for you help, I think this is usefull for specific relay route.

icecast can relay another icecast stream. You'd only need a source client if you want to re-encode the stream.

Thanks for your faster reply !

But in case of relaying, I need to have a specific conf for relay on the other Icecast server.
I want to keep the mountpoint configuration on this server and not add relay or slave (due to mysql generative mountpoints).

So, I need to catch with Ices an Icecast mountpoint localy on the same machine, and stream it to another Icecast with a classic mountpoint configuration without reencoding (reencode = 0 on Ices).

Best,

I don't know what the situation is but if you have to use the ices then ok, IIRC the playlist file should contain a single hyphen in it to indicate that stdin is used

Things I don't understand is where is inserted the stream url form the first to the final Icecast if I've only a single hyphen on the playlist.

Many thanks again for your help.
