I think it will only work within a specific <mount>, but I thought I would ask anyway.
If you don't use specific <mount> entries is there a general way of specifying an intro file to be played before any stream?

no. Generally speaking most people have multiple mounts of different content or different stream format settings so a single global intro setting is next to useless. It's probably better to use a wildcard type mount name to achieve something similar but that's only in the kh tree at the moment.

I was going to mention a wildcard mount but haven't been keeping up with your tree. I'll have a peek.
