I have a source client that can only send a variable bitrate mp3 to Icecast. Is there anyway to configure Icecast to rebroadcast that at a constant bitrate?

It is only a problem because recent WMP clients do not play variable bitrate mp3's very well.

You can take a VBR source and stream it as CBR using:
