I have original status.xsl, and problem with web page source:
<td>Stream URL:</td>
<td class="streamdata"><a target="_blank" href="http://turha.sivusto.fi/%20">http://turha.sivusto.fi/ </a></td>
Where comes that space (%20), it's not in source client, and status.xsl is not modified?
<tr><td>Stream URL:</td><td class="streamdata"><a target="_blank" href="{server_url}"><xsl:value-of select="server_url" /></a></td></tr>
Except for one space before <a target removed. Result is still same with stock status.xsl. |

the url is provided by the source client or icecast xml, are you sure the source client is not adding the extra space at the end of the url?

How could I check that? Sniffing packets source client is sending to Icecast?
I noticed this problem now, previously I had used website with Apache, now using thttpd that shows errorpage (%20 not found), I checked status.xsl first but saw nothing wrong there..
edit: configured debug level for logs, now error.log shows following:
[2008-10-03 17:06:29] DBUG stats/process_source_event new node server_url (http://turha.sivusto.fi/ )
So I guess source client (Orban Opticodec-PC) is adding that mysterious space somehow.
another edit: tried with edcast3, and result:
[2008-10-03 17:18:27] DBUG stats/process_source_event new node server_url (http://turha.sivusto.fi/)
No space in url, so it is Orban Opticodec-PC that it makes. Problem solved. |
