Icecast Streaming Media Server

hello,

I stream my church live on our icecast server in mp3 the link shows as .m3u but this works fine on desktops.

I am trying to make a mobile site for the web and with that a mobile stream..
I am getting the error "Cannot play the file. The file is either corrupted or the Player dose not support the format you are trying to play."

using windows mobile 6 with windows mobile media player...

any ideals?

no information to identify the issue. The typical cause of windows media player having problems with mp3 streams is down to variable bitrate settings being used.

what do you need to know? I have tried to connect every way I can think of and changed the bandwith and nothing.. I am also looking for an icecast server that is streaming where my mobile phone can get the stream to see what they are doin and I have only found windows media servers to work (mms://)
my phone plays mp3's so why it can not play an mp3 stream cant understand.

If the problem is specific to that player (ie other players are ok) then you need to get MS to fix it, we have no control over that application.

found the issue.. windows mobile media player will not play mp3 streams..
when I downloaded GSPlayer the stream played well..

In my research I have learned that is no one fix for all phones.
