Im trying to set up a student radio station, and having spoke to a number of other station managers, we decided that the best method is using Darkice/icecast combination on a linux based system.
We are using Ubuntu 8.10. Having downloaded darkice and icecast it keeps telling me i need a number of other libraries installed first.
Is there a simple "how to install darkice/icecast (including all those annoying libraries) for dummies" guide out there anywhere? |

apt-get install icecast2 darkice
You'll find their config files in /etc/icecast2 & /etc/darkice _________________ Epsilon Friends Radio Icecast Radio on CentovaCast admin panel. Icecast hosting |
