Hey Casters Wink

First: Sorry for my bad english

So what i want:
I will 2 DJs on the same Mountpoint on the same Time, they make the Timesync self on Teamspeak or other voip

My Ideas:
- Sending the Stream over Asterisk or Teamspeak and this Voip send the Stream to Icecast, but my test dont work
- 2 diffrent Mountpoints was used from the dj's and the mpg123 mix this streams to 1 stream and send it to a 3. stream on the Icecast, my problem was the mix on the server, i can't mix.
I have no more Ideas. Sad

Google and co. was not my friends in this case

Peter

Sounds you need a very good mixing client to premix all of simultaneous sources (music, voices and more...) then send the mixed result to icecast.

But you don't telle about your operating system. Many good mixers exist, but most are specific to an operating system.

If you use Linux, Through jack daemon (a sound server) and jack mixer, with a client like IDJC, you can easily achieve this, usually with some trial and error. I guess some windows clients, maybe traktor could give you the same result.

the operatingsystem was a linux server without a soundcard.
the dj's send the streams to the server with diffrent systems (most windows with sam broadcaster).

well, let's think for a while. A server without a soundcard can use jackd in dummy mode.
DJs and other sources can be mapped to jackd entries. Using IDJC or another linux client with jackd and configuring entries cleanly would give you an excellent system, with high quality audio.

When I get some spare time, I'll post a viable configuration after I try it on one of my servers.
