When I go to the web interface of my icecast server, the current song field is just blank, and media players just list the mount point. I'm using ices2 to play a playlist. How do I get it to list the song playing?

In playlist mode, metadata (artist, title...) is directly extracted frm palyed files. Chack with a tag editor that your Vorbis files have correct tags.
