Hi
i work with kh9 max-listeners redirect slave.
i use an embedded player on my site
redirect works fine.
if i use authentication type="htpasswd" with file for example /home/icecastuser/passwords
allow duplicate logons

and create the same file passwords to all my slaves the redirect of the mount with authentication type="htpasswd" it will work ??

i use mix o/s platform some slave linux some windows.
must i use the same path ?
or just the same filename for the file of the passwords ?
or just the same username -pass in the file of passwords ?

The slaves can be any platform and the htpasswd file can be named/ordered as you wish, the key thing is that the user/pass must match before icecast allows the client to proceed to the stream.
