|
|
Hello,
When I use the "Edcast" (new name of Oddcast) as plugin for Winamp, the Icecast server receives the metadata and displays normally. As always displays if in AutoDJ (by CentovaCast).
Unfortunately, I still do not get the same when using the "Streamer" (by "StationPlaylist" with older version of this plugin, called "Oddcast"). I tried on another PC and it happened what had already occurred before. Metadata only appear in the transmissions via Shoutcast, including using the same server that is the Icecast, because CentovaCast to use Shoutcast and Icecast.
I'm desperate ...
I do not know where to turn ... CentovaCast? Icecast? StationPlaylist, creator of Streamer? |

oddcast has been using /admin/metadata requests to update metadata for some time now. If there is a problem with metadata updates then I would check the logs to see if those requests are actually getting to icecast.

the logs files are simple text, so any text viewer will work. You can check the access log (as specified in your xml) to see if there are metadata request coming in.
