Hello folks!
I tried to look for help in documentation but no luck. I've been running and Icecast2 server for two years and now, with a centova cast panel control, would like to set up a big station for a large website (30,000 on Alexa) so
How can I know how many concurrent users will handle the Icecast server?
I have an VPS with 1024 RAM and "unlimited" (guess 500gb) Bandwith.... I would like to set up the radio up to 64Kbps so how many users can I 'offer'?
Also, I run a small website on the same server (80gb of bandwith/monthly)... Should I worry about the RAM?

tests have been done for icecast with 10,000+ listeners, the limit typically being the network not the server and RAM usage is minimal, 1G is plenty but there is the question of what else is running on the server.
The key thing about bandwidth is what is the sustainable rate you can achieve and divide that by 64kbps and reduce by a few percent for protocol overhead.
