You can use this tuto, juste replace the wget icecast source rpm by

If your using HostGator then:

You have to be a HG customer to access this area...
If not I can probably pull my post out that details how to do this step by step for CentOS 5.4 which is used by most hosting services.
There is a crucial bug in most CentOS with WHM and CPanel installed that will cause a fatal compile error in relation to the XML libs. |

CentOS has some discrepancies causing compile or run errors.
The solution I used to solve the problem is:
Making things this way allows:
1) repairing discrepancies in libxslt in CentOS.
2) Keeping a clean RPM architecture
