Hello.

I get the error: error -7 [SR_ERROR_RECV_FAILED] during recording any channels on the radiostation.

That error appears in any time without any logic.

Help, plz.

Icecast trunk.

That is not an icecast message. It looks to be a response an error condition within some other application.

Sounds like a Station Ripper 'or compatible) error message. This is a cleint problem you'll have to solve with this client provider.

SR_ERROR_RECV_FAILED is an error meaning a frame was broken (this can be a broken frame, a too slow frame, and so on..)

Rebootng the server will never solve a client problem.

On one of my icecast servers, we often have a problem generated by the same source DJ.. Does this mean the problem comes from the server or this single source ?

FYI, the same server has 43 other DJs as sources..

So think for a moment, and the solution will come Smile

Without clean logs from servers, one can only rely on coffee marks, crystal balls or extra lucid guy to tell you where the problem is. Please provide information, specailly from icecast logs.

Well all the stuff looks like some network problem. Icecast cannot serve a stream to a mo more listening client, so you should try tracking why your client stops listening.

Your cron job sounds having problems..

The fact is the other listeners can listening to the radio more than 9 hours!!
But my the second server (95.168.*.*) get the error once in 1-2 hours during the recording. Last 2 days. All be fine before.
Something with network, I guess.
