setting up my net radio station...
what is the best combo of software to use? ie:icecast liveice etc..
how many people will be able to connect at on time?
running dual zeon 3ghz 1 gig ram.broadband = 8mb downstream 400k upstream!

Well your upstream bandwidth is going to be the most limiting factor.
400kbp probably gives you about 320kbps of useable bw.
Which will support 5 x 64kbps streams. You could go with a 32kbps stream and get 10, but I hope you're seeing my point now. |

does the stream go to them first then people use ther bandwidth? |
