Hello,
I am having difficulty using a fallback mountpoint. The /autodj mountpoint (ices 0.4) is working great and streaming @ 128 Kbps in audio/mpeg which we listen to through /stream. However when I broadcast to the /live mountpoint in ogg vorbis while listening to the /stream mountpoint the live broadcast doesn't take over. We are using standard Centova Cast settings:

Do you think this is because of the different formats?
Thanks! _________________ Seth Cole (Google+) (@rockhost)

yes, icecast does have certain checks to prevent that as you cannot expect players to handle that change in format without a reconnection. Whenever there is moving of listeners, the target mount needs to be sufficiently similar or else you can have problems, a change in bitrate or samplerate or channels within the same format can also be a problem.
