I have a netstream now in 128k, that I want to use and get a 64k stream sigal from it....

Can I do this with icecast?

(We have paid for the 128k from a company and now we need another netstream with only 64k).

it will be better (quality-wise) to create the second stream from the same source as the 128k but if you do not have that capability then you'll need a transcoder (eg www.oddsock.org), which _can_ be run on the same server.

Okay, I will maybe try that later - but for now we just need to to use the same source. Must of all because of the metadata... They have made some software that removes some stuff we dont need. Smile
