Hi.

I have installed icecast on a linux server and it works great! Razz

I use it to convert a 128 kbit signal to 64 kbit singal and stream it.

Now I use Winamp and Edcast in Windows to grab the signal and transcode it to 64 kbit and send it to my linux icecast server which stream it.... But I would like to have it all on my linux server, so is there a solution in Linux where it can do the grab and transcode thing for me?
Hope someone can help me. Smile

Regards,
Henrik

Oddsock.org has a transcoder, I never could get it to work right, but its there. A lot of people have had success, but again, Im not a brilliant person with linux either (comparible to a child running with sissors)

a M3U file is a playlist file, made of of file paths that point to the mp3 or stream. a playlist file. You are stil offering mp3 if thats the encoder that you are using. Sorry for the delayed response, VERY BUSY WEEK.
