Hi there. I read error logs and see many errors like this
Code:
[2010-06-20  09:49:35] WARN util/ Rejecting invalid path "//electro"

As far as i understand someone tries to connect to mountpoint "//electro" instead of "/electro" and icecast dropping it. Is there any way to create an alias from "//electro" to "/electro" or somehow redirect these requests to proper mountpoint? We have really a lot of this wrong requests: http://bit.ly/a8234U (screenshot).

I would look at this differently. Very differently.

You know these listeners are not from the YP....

...and You know these listeners are not from your site, or they would hit the correct links on the website to log in...

So my best guess? Someone has your station set up on their website. They took your stream info and put it into a third party player. When their player ask for them to enter the mounts, that person went ahead, and entered "/mount.ogg" instead of "mount.ogg" like their third party player wanted. I would be MUCH MORE worried about where these stream launches are happening from.

Well i don't care if someone put our streams on their website using some 3rd-party player... in any case - it doesn't work Smile Because "//mount" request returns error and music doesn't play.

stripping out the multiple / is not a problem to fixup. I have a kh24.5 upload with that in, if you want to verify that.
