Is there any way to have more than one intro clip for a mountpoint? If it's possible, I would like to give Icecast a list of clips to choose at random. |

It is not something specifically handled although adding such a feature should not be too difficult. The only way currently is in the kh tree using the auth url settings and pass back the header
icecast-auth-user: withintro
along with the content in the body.

Using withintro works well. I've tested concatenation w/ multiple Ogg intros. It works wonderfully.
Curious question for you Karl. If I send a lengthy intro, let's say something like 30 seconds, when does IC start sending the live stream? Is it upon completion of the intro to the client, or does it start buffering immediately?
(I know ... I should really test the hell out of this myself.) _________________ ++I; |

It will be after the url auth completes, as it stays in a staging area until that is complete. I'm not sure how easy it would be to allow sending to proceed after the headers because of certain internal assumptions, it may just require another setting.
