I am looking for players in Linux under KDE, preferably 3.5.10 that support feeds with user/pass setups on IceCast 2.3.2?

I've tried Amarok and others and they just don't connect, period.

No errors, no request for user/pass, just "No demux for ..... "

What software am I missing that support this mode? ? ?

the no demux would indicate a stream format that is not currently handled, it would not indicate an auth problem. Are you sure you have the correct mountpoint, check the icecast logs for the players attempt to get the stream.

Stream exists.

Its an existing feed that as soon as the authentication setup is removed plays fine.

Have you tried using a URL like such:

http://username:password@server:port/mount

I know it's a lot, but not all players will prompt for authentication if it's required.
