not sure which is best, liveice (http://liveice.sourceforge.net/). darkice, vlc are possibilities. The patent licensing makes it difficult.

ohk. but i have gone through few linkshttp://www.linuxjournal.com/article/9280?page=0,0
and they gave few changes to be done in ices.conf file .

Quote:
<module>oss</module>
Specify either oss or sun.

<param name='device'>/dev/dsp</param>
Specify which device to use. /dev/dsp is a good choice for OSS sound cards, or /dev/audio for the Sun audio device.

<param name='rate'>44100</param>
<param name='channels'>2</param>

any idea what he means ?
how can we do this?

Thanks in advance,
bsbrp
