| Can someone please tell me how this is supposed to happen I have tried most suggestions on this server. The dsp will not work with it. Any insight is greatly appreciated. |

winamp itself will not stream to icecast. you will need a plugin, oddcast/edcast was the native plugin but whether that is still available or not I don't know. The shoutcast plugin should work if icecast has been set up to accept a shoutcast-mount

I recommend running the edcast "stand alone" version if you are using a live feed with an external mixer..
and edcast DSP if you're playing mp3 files from a winamp session

I cant find the edcast dsp I found the oddcast one but it does not work.
Anyidea where to get oddcast dsp |

| One more thing. With the shoutcast dsp you could connect to the soundcard as a input. for djing is this possible with edcast? |

yes, I find its actually easier to do that with shoutcast's DSP.. as the "mic" button is right on the main window, instead of being 3 tabs in..
I prefer using an external mixer, however, must better performance than any "on-screen" mixing.. but, yes, the button is right there on the front window. _________________ -DjZ-
