Hello peeps,
i am new to icecast and i canīt figure out what i am doing wrong, i canīt hear my audio stream and canīt see any error message at all.

seems ok from here, The only 2 things that stand out as possible issues are
<hostname> being set to localhost, could affect m3u generation
mountpoint not ending in .ogg. eg winamp may still require the extension for codec selection.

Thanks i have no access to the icecast admin, stream works fine
when i use /live for example as mount point, but the stream still does not appear in the webfrontend plug in, you have any remomendation to embed an icecast stream into a website ?
Is ffmp3 a possible solution ?
http://ffmp3.sourceforge.net/faq.php
This shoutcast widget generator seems not to work properly or has the wrong paramenters in the configuration http://www.museter.com/SHOUTcast_Hosting_Online_Radio_Flash_Player.php
thanks again |

Player specific questions are best directed to the developers/support of those players. Generally, If you really want flash to be the playback engine then there are a few players around, but unless they receive data in FLV format then flash/browser leaks memory, think of it trying to cache the stream as a local file.
I know the JW player handles FLV content but you'll need my updated icecast to wrap the streams up in FLV for the player. I can't say what these shoutcast players are doing off hand as I'm not involved with them.
