Hey Guys,

Wondered if you could help me...

I have 2 mount points, one for a AutoDJ to broadcast on mount /autodj when a presenter is not online, and one mountpoint /live for presenters go on air.

When a presenter comes off, /autodj mount automatically starts broadcasting. However there is lag when the presenters come off and the autodj starts broadcasting, ( stopping and starting of music )... people have to refresh their browser to listen to the radio.

Would it be possible if you can guide me, into fixing this issue? Smile

Alex

Usually in the situation you described, the autoDJ is always connected it can be disconnected while the presenter is live but should be on just in case they disconnect. The live mountpoint would also has a fallbck-mount to /autoDJ with fallback-override enabled.

Hi,

The AutoDJ stays connected, it automatically falls back onto autodj from live, but it just buffers....

that would tend to indicate that the player is receiving content that is different to what it was expecting. like a change in format or the settings used. Obviously we have not had any confirmation of that.

burst size is typically 64k but can be any value you like, a number of people have very small queue size figures though, may be you were thinking of that?
