Can you be so kind to make a new sub forum called "Radio Player" so that we can share codes or links to players with other members especially when we need to help to get them to work with Icecast? |

Sorry no, I mean where people can come on this forum and share there own FREE open script's source codes as in flash players, php players, java players that show metadata so that we as a community don't have to look all over the web for days, months or years.
I have looked for many players and all of them want $$$ for ones that retrieve the metadata so at leasts on here people can share FREE script's source code that works well with our Icecast Kh or any of the newer versions.
Just an Idea cause im tired and im sure others are to of searching and only finding pay for use players or really outdated players that don't show the metadata.
I mean we all know it costs money today to hosts a radio and domain and to have a legal license to broadcast over the air/internet so paying extra is way over anyones budget especially the way are economy is.
Thank you |

If people wish to post their players, they can do so in the listener client section, as that's what a listener client is. |

Ok so the listener section on this forum is what is meant for sharing personal or open source script codes.
Again a lot of what I have seen up to today is earthier outdated or missing links or (pay to use) $$ unless you can show one that works well with Icecast KH showing the metadata properly configured.
Thank You |

Hi Amateur DJ,
There are many free player that is available that can play Icecast stream, but on your case you need a customized player with those feature list you mentioned so you need someone to do that for you and I don't think there will be a Mr. Nice guy to do that for you for free unless they are your best friend , another option is that there are some stream providers that offer a free player but of course you need to get hosted on their stream, just try search google for "AAC+ Flash player" good luck |
