Icecast Streaming Media Server

I run Icecast on a Sun Solaris server with multiple nic's.
I want to run two icecast instances, with each there own config xml file.

Are there any caveats to watch for?
For a quick test I have duplicated the web and log dirs so each instance can use its own files.

Is that the way to do this?

You can certainly have separate locations for both webroot and adminroot if you want, whether you need to will depend on what changes you want to do with the files within them, most people leave them as there are. logdir should be unique to the icecast. If each icecast is going on each NIC then <hostname> will be different but other than that, there should be no other issues.
